Recently, the developers over at Bigpoint Games have seen fit to release BSGO (Battlestar Galactica Online) into open beta, free for all to use.
The game (which I have been using for about 2 days) has amazing 3D graphics. They blew my mind the first time I played.

Now, there are compromises for having graphics like this. It takes literally almost an hour to load for the first time, but after some data is stored in your cache it loads fairly quickly. But if you even just have medium speed DSL, kiss gameplay goodbye. Your ship becomes as unresponsive and jerky as a pro wrestler with a hangover.
All in all, a good representation of the BSG universe. 3.75 stars out of 5.
